Von Frankenstein Monster Gear Announces BeastMode Nickel Plated Bass Strings

Von Frankenstein Monster Gear has introduced a new set of nickel-plated bass strings called BeastMode. The company, founded by guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein and industry mainstay Josh Vittek, handcrafts the strings one at a time from USA steel.
“[It starts] with a hard tempered hex core and a meticulously wound nickel plated wrap,” they write about the string’s construction. “The string is wound at tensions and speeds accurately dialed in to provide the best-performing string possible. This process leaves each string feeling and playing like a dream, even when the player is delivering a musically brutal beating on stage or in the studio.”
BeastMode strings come in four gauges: Medium Light, Medium, Medium Heavy, and Heavy. All of the sets are designed for long-scale bass guitars, and each string is individually sealed and labeled in an anti-corrosion bag.
The Von Frankenstein Monster Gear BeastMode Nickel Plated Bass Strings are available now, starting at $28.99.
