Bergantino Audio Systems Introduces the Super Pre
Bergantino Audio Systems has unveiled a new piece of gear for 2023 with the Super Pre. The new offering packs tons of features into a unit the size of a cigar box, including gain, a wide range of compression, precision EQ, overdrives, and more. Its powerful signal processing is accessed with a user-friendly interface and an OLED display.
“Boasting endless possibilities, this unit offers all of the grit and power of big tube amp sound thanks to the DSP Embedded System Controlled Bass Amplifier, Bergantino’s BFT drive circuits, and programmable filters including a Bright Switch, Variable High-Pass Filter, Variable Low-Pass Filter, and Variable Feedback filter,” Bergantino writes. “The EQ possibilities are limitless thanks to the revolutionary Bergantino Speaker-File EQ System and 4-Band Multifunction EQ with adjustable frequency range and ‘Q,’ which is all scene savable like all of the options on the Super Pre.”
The control set of the Super Pre includes six knobs, two buttons, and four footswitches. It has 21 savable scenes with three memory switches that each contain eight individual banks, giving you plenty of room to program your favorite sounds. Other features include a software-selectable input impedance, a built-in chromatic tuner, aux-in, headphone jacks, an effects loop, a USB port, and a preamp line out.
The Bergantino Super Pre will be shipping this week for $699.
