Adam “Nolly” Getgood Returns for “Periphery V: Djent Is Not A Genre”

Periphery V: Djent Is Not A GenreThe progressive metal heroes of Periphery have returned with a new album called Periphery V: Djent Is Not A Genre. The band, which has been associated with the djent sound, once again recruited former member Adam “Nolly” Getgood to co-produce the album as well as play bass.

“I believe the chaps have put together not only their best work but a record that is truly special from start to finish. It was an honour to be a part of it and I have to say I’m really proud of how the whole production came out sounding,” Getgood wrote on Instagram. “It’s also easily the happiest I’ve been with my bass performances and tone on record, especially on a song like Dracul Gras where that [Dingwall Guitars] F# comes through loud and clear.”
