Fender Announces the Squier Sonic Series Basses

Fender’s entry-level Squier Bullet series has been replaced by a new line called the Sonic Series. The new instruments carry similar attributes to their predecessors with new colors and new models.
Among the Sonic Series are two bass models: the Squier Sonic Bronco Bass and the Squier Sonic Precision Bass. Priced at $209 and $219, respectively, they represent the company’s most affordable basses.
The Squier Sonic Bronco Bass comes in Arctic White, Tahitian Coral, and Black finishes. It has a short 30-inch scale, a single-coil pickup, and a four-saddle hardtail bridge. Conversely, the long-scale Precision Bass comes in California Blue, 2-Color Sunburst, and Black.
Depending on the finish, each bass comes with either a maple or Indian Laurel fingerboard.
The Squier Sonic Bronco Bass and the Squier Sonic Precision Bass will be available soon for $209 and $219.
