Squier has announced five new models to their Paranormal Series, which they say boast “otherworldly looks and earth-shattering tones.” The new lineup includes one bass called the Rascal Bass HH.
Fender’s entry-level Squier Bullet series has been replaced by a new line called the Sonic Series. The new instruments carry similar attributes to their predecessors with new colors and new models.
Fender has expanded on the Squier Contemporary Series with two guitars as well as four new bass models. Both the P and J Basses have four and five-string versions.
It’s been forty years since Fender launched the Squier brand and they’re marking the occasion with a line of 40th Anniversary instruments. There are four basses, including versions of the Jazz Bass and Precision Bass in Gold and Vintage editions.

Squier has shrunk the P-bass to introduce the Mini Precision Bass. The reduced-size includes a 28.6-inch scale, which is even smaller than a regular 30-inch short scale.
