Keep It Groovy: Learn The Bass Line To The Beatles’ “Eight Days A Week”

Today we’ll keep it groovy by learning triads, following a chord progression, and applying a walking bass line to a pop song! The best way to do that is by taking a page from Paul McCartney’s book, so we’ll be learning “Eight Days A Week” by The Beatles.

In this lesson, we’ll work out our chord progression and discover different ways to play through triads and apply scale shapes. By the end of it, you should have a great handle on how to play this perfectly crafted pop walking bass line!

Enjoy, and keep it groovy!
