Fender Announces Made in Japan Limited International Color Series Basses
Fender has unveiled a new limited run of Made in Japan instruments called the International Color Series. Described as “Vintage Fender vibes meets Made in Japan craftsmanship,” the series includes a Precision Bass and a Jazz Bass with two color options for each.
The Made in Japan Limited International Color Precision Bass comes in Maui Blue and Morocco Red while the Jazz Bass model is available in Monaco Yellow and Maui Blue. Common features include a basswood body, a maple neck, and vintage-style pickups. The Jazz Bass has a maple board with white pearloid blocks and 1-ply white binding. The Maui Blue Precision Bass is the only model with a rosewood fingerboard.
The Fender Made in Japan Limited International Color Series Basses are available now with price points of $1,199 for the P-bass and $1,299 for the Jazz.
