Fender Unveils the Limited Edition Suona Jazz Bass Thinline
Fender is rolling out some new gear for summer 2023, including the Limited Edition Suona Collection. The lineup is made up of three Thinline electrics, with one of those being the Suona Jazz Bass, a semi-hollow four-string that the company says “boasts exceptional clarity, lively resonance, and a warmth unique to Thinline models.”
Its ash body is completed with a bound Italian alpine spruce top finished in a Nitrocellulose Lacquer Violin Burst. Fender fits it with a roasted flame maple neck with a modern “C” shape and a 7.25”-9.5” compound-radius ebony fingerboard. The pickups are custom-designed single-coils unique to the Suona series. Other features include a matching headstock, a HiMass Vintage bridge, and Pure Vintage reverse open-gear tuners.
The Fender Limited Edition Suona Jazz Bass Thinline will launch soon at a street price of $3,099.
