Fender Announces the Limited Edition Mike Kerr Jaguar Bass

Mike Kerr with Fender Signature Jaguar Bass

Fender has unveiled a new signature model for 2023 with the Limited Edition Mike Kerr Jaguar Bass. Built specially for the Royal Blood frontman, the short-scale bass takes the classic bass design and fits it with a special set of high-output humbuckers.

“The custom pickups for me are really important. The smaller one at the back is like the wild card. I use it a lot in the studio when I want to double track bass and have a kind of Spaghetti Western thing where you have the twang and something subby.”

The bass has a classic wood selection with an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fingerboard. Its neck has a modern “C” shape with a slim profile and 20 medium jumbo frets. Other features include block inlays, a Tiger’s Blood Orange finish, and a custom Tiger neck plate. Finally, the bass ships with a deluxe gig bag with tiger embroidery and a leopard print interior.

The Fender Limited Edition Mike Kerr Jaguar Bass is available now for $1,599.
