Adam Blackstone Releases “The Legacy Experience (Live)”
Although he’s been on many chart-topping albums, Adam Blackstone released his debut solo record last year with Legacy. Soon after, he hit the road to support it with what he called “The Legacy Experience” tour, and now we have an album showcasing his live chops.
The Legacy Experience (Live) sees the masterful bassist joined by an amazing guest list, including Mary Mary, Robert Glasper, Leslie Odom Jr., John Scofield, and more. Together, they create unstoppable grooves on Blackstone’s incredible arrangements of jazz and pop songs.
Whether he’s swinging on the upright for big band tunes or creating the pocket on electric for R&B songs, it’s clear that Blackstone is one of the top bassists of our time.
