Tool Announces New Tour Dates

Tool

Hot off of their performance at the Power Trip Festival, Tool has announced a new set of tour dates. The winter trek will begin January 10th in Baltimore, Maryland, and bounce around the U.S. through mid-February. Their final date on the leg is set for February 18th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While the group is still supporting 2019’s Fear Inoculum, bassist Justin Chancellor has revealed that the group is working on new music. He was recently a guest on The Vinyl Guide podcast, where he said they have “many ideas cooking.”

“We haven’t recorded anything yet. But we’re quite busy until after the spring of next year touring,” he said. “So once that’s done we’re gonna get back in the studio and knuckle down and put some of it together.” The bassist further noted that Tool has already enjoyed “a few pretty decent sessions of writing. So we’ve got all the ingredients in place. We’ve just got to really bang it out and spend that time when we’re not touring.”

Chancellor also has new music coming from his side project, MTVoid. Matter’s Knot, Pt. 1 is scheduled to release on November 10th.

No Albuquerque? Why a#$holes? You hit some fairly obscure and unexpected cities in the US this tour but not one you’ve played last couple tours. So New Mexico gets snubbed entirely but four dates in Vermont? Some exaggeration, but as a fan who has shelled out just as much cash for Tool merch as any big city, or greener city? Less homeless tent cities? More attractive indigenous people? fan has, I’m genuinely irritated you won’t give me the chance to pay outrageous prices for more worthless Tool logoized stupidity. Btw, Fear Innoculum is a great cure for insomnia

I think you answered your own question .
What about us Tool fans in this Country, or World ,for that matter, that always get missed? Don’t be so stingy! See you in Biloxi!

Yeah not cool that Chicago wasn’t included this time around. My daughter and I saw for the first them in March and they were fabulous! So dissapointed
