Les Claypool Announces “Adverse Yaw: The Prawn Song Years” Box Set

Les Claypool: "Adverse Yaw The Prawn Song Years" Box Set

Les Claypool revived his Fearless Flying Frog Brigade project this year, and now it looks like more of his solo work is being brought back to the spotlight. The Primus frontman has just announced Adverse Yaw: The Prawn Song Years, a vinyl box set that compiles five albums from his solo projects.

The collection will include Purple Onion and Live Frogs Sets 1&2 with the Frog Brigade as well as Of Whales and Woe, Of Fungi and Foe, and The Big Eyeball In The Sky. That last album was recorded by Colonel Claypool’s Bucket of Bernie Brains, a supergroup comprised of P-Funk keyboardist Bernie Worrell, drummer Bryan “Brain” Mantia, and guitarist Buckethead.

The Adverse Yaw box set is a chance for fans to get long out-of-print records and the first-ever vinyl pressing of The Big Eyeball In The Sky. The albums were remastered on limited edition 180-gram vinyl.

Adverse Yaw: The Prawn Song Years will be out on February 9th. It’s available for pre-order from Club Bastardo as just the vinyl box set or a bundle with an exclusive t-shirt and a screen-printed poster designed by Matt Leunig and signed by Claypool.

Claypool is currently on the Hunt for Green October tour with the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade.
