Sublime With Rome Release “Tangerine Skies” EP

Sublime with Rome: Tangerine SkiesSublime with Rome has returned with a new EP called Tangerine Skies, which continues the band’s mix of ska and alternative rock with four new tracks. Work on the songs began in 2020 during the lockdown.

“We’re thrilled to release our newest EP, ‘Tangerine Skies!’ This collection of songs has been years in the making – originating as demos during the pandemic, we took this music out to Texas to fully realize it as an album,” the band shares. “‘Tangerine Skies’ showcases the multifaceted songwriting and infectious grooves that our fans know and love. From sun-soaked summer jams to raw reflections on pain and confusion, these 4 tracks capture the full spectrum of our sound. We’ve poured our hearts into this music, and we hope listeners cherish these songs as much as we do!”

The band, which formed in 2010, features Sublime members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson with vocalist Rome Ramirez, who also produced the EP. Wilson delivers his bass lines with super dubby tones to create the music’s atmosphere. The bass is most prominent on the most upbeat of the tracks “Battle Scar”, which has Wilson slipping into ska lines for the chorus.

Tangerine Skies is out now digitally on iTunes, Amazon MP3, and more.
