In Conversation: Sonny Emory and Nathan East
Today’s video features two legends of the music industry. Virtuosos Nathan East and Sonny Emory sit down at Yamaha Japan and talk about this art form we call music. They touch on many topics, including the relationship with bass and drums.
Both musicians have resumes that are a few miles long! They are currently on tour with guitar legend Eric Clapton, holding it down! I recently picked up Clapton’s MTV Unplugged performance on CD, and I realized that Nate has been holding the bass chair for about 40 years. An amazing run that’s STILL going!
