Kiesel Guitars Introduces the Dustin Davidson DDM4 Bass

Kiesel Guitars Dustin Davison Signature DDM4 Bass

Kiesel Guitars has announced a revision to their signature model with Dustin Davidson of August Burns Red. The second iteration of his model, dubbed the DDM4, is based on Kiesel’s A2 bass with some tweaks, including a multiscale layout and a custom pickup configuration.

“The model keeps the Tritium pickup placement but deletes the middle pickup, leaving the neck and bridge pickups in the same place,” the company explains. “Paired with the Darkglass preamp, typically a Tritium exclusive, a fuller and clearer tone is achieved over traditional pickup placements.”

A four-way rotary switch acts as a pickup toggle with four options: bridge only, neck and bridge in series, neck and bridge in parallel, and neck pickup only.

The DDM4 can be ordered with a range of body woods: alder, roasted alder, swamp ash, or roasted swamp ash. The top comes standard as flamed spalted maple. Its maple neck comes with an ebony fingerboard adorned with an August Burns Red logo inlay.

The Kiesel Guitars Dustin Davison Signature DDM4 is available for order now with a starting price of $3,149.

Nice looking bass, way too much in the way of complicated electronic controls for me tho…
However they actually listed the weight of this bass here! ~I can’t believe it!! They gotta be an excellent BG company, just based on that consideration alone!!
