8. Marcus Miller featuring Nate Phillips and David Dyson: “Blast” Live from The Smooth Jazz Cruise 2024
Marcus Miller performed during this year’s Smooth Jazz Cruise, and while the band played “Blast,” he wanted to give the bass players some love. In the middle of the song, he first called on Nate Phillips to take center stage, and the two traded some funky licks. Next, David Dyson came on stage to add more low end goodness.
