Eastwood Updates the TB64 6-String Bass for 2024
Bass VI-style instruments have been growing in popularity over the past couple of years, and now Eastwood is reviving another six-string bass from the past. The TB64 6-string Bass STD is a new version of their tribute to the TB-64 Teisco bass.
The solid-body design has a “monkey grip” cutout, six-strings, a 30-inch scale, and 21 frets. It now also has a solid stop-tail instead of a trem.
Available in Vintage Mint Green, Fiesta Red, and Sunburst, the TB64 has three single coil pickups with an on/off selector. It also has a Rhythm/Solo switch and volume and tone controls.
You can get an idea of the TB64’s sound with this clip of the old edition with the tremolo:
The Eastwood Guitars TB64 6-String Bass STD is available now for $799.
