Ampeg Now Shipping the Venture V7 Bass Amp

Ampeg launched the Venture Series late last year. After introducing a new cabinet earlier this month, the company announced that the lineup’s mid-level amplifier is now shipping.
The Venture V7 has a 700-watt power section that sits between the V3’s 300 watts and the V12’s 1,200 watts. It shares the same preamp and features as the rest, including the Legacy preamp with a three-band EQ and sweepable mid-frequency, Ultra Hi and Ultra Lo switches, a variable compressor, and a footswitchable SGT Overdrive circuit. Its rear panel has an XLR output, an auxiliary input, an effects loop with a blend knob, and a headphone output.
The Ampeg Venture V7 is shipping now for $749.
