Oteil Burbridge Announces Fall Tour, New Single
Dead & Company is gearing up for their residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas from May 16th through the July 13th, but Oteil Burbridge is already planning ahead for the year. He’s just announced a fall tour with his solo band, Oteil & Friends, which will feature Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock, Jason Crosby, Johnny Kimock, Tom Guarna, and Lamar Williams, Jr.
The run kicks off September 5th in Seattle, Washington and will focus on the West Coast for the majority of the outing. After a string of shows in California, they’ll fly to South Carolina and head up the East Coast, winding up at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on October 19th.
In addition to the tour, Burbridge has dropped a new single.
“Proud to present ‘Love and War’ live from the 2024 Dead Ahead Festival in Cancun, Mexico,” he writes. “This new single, co-written with Lamar Williams Jr., features Melvin Seals, Duane Betts, Jason Crosby, Tom Guarna, John Kimock, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman and Ryan Zoidis.”
The song is streaming everywhere, plus the bassist released a live video.
