Pixies Release First Songs with New Bassist

Back in March, Pixies announced the departure of Paz Lenchantin and the introduction of Emma Richardson. The new bassist has already completed a European tour with the band and apparently they’ve already hit the recording studio.
They’re released two new tracks featuring her bass playing: a new original called “You’re So Impatient” and a cover of “Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be).”
“‘You’re So Impatient’ is a slightly comedic suburban culture moment: There’s this guy; there’s this gal; there’s this tug-of-love dynamic going on. But the backdrop is the mall. And while the mall is crass, it’s also a very zombie, rock’n’roll horror movie setting.”
