Bass of the Week: GV Guitars Jules Black Hole

GV Guitars Jules Black Hole Bass

GV Guitars has a cool bass model called the Jules, which has a cool and funky body shape. They also built one for a customer called the Jules Black Hole, which has a killer black sparkle finish and some cool features.

“Black holes have very strong gravity and are a massive phenomenon in space, just like this bass is,” the company writes. “The fanned fret design with monorail bridges is great for down tuning. The Aguliar pickups give the sound great articulation and clarity, and the 3 band Zolkow preamps will give it versatility in every possible situation.”

The bass is crafted with a body of sandwiched swamp ash and alder, a maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard. Other features include Hipshot hardware and Mother of Pearl inlays.
