Kevin McCormick Returns to Anchor Experience Hendrix Tour 2025

The Experience Hendrix Tour is returning for 2025 with an incredible list of musicians paying homage to the guitar icon. Set to run from March 11th to April 12th, the tour’s featured artists include Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Marcus King, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Zakk Wylde, Eric Johnson, Devon Allman, Samantha Fish, Noah Hunt, and more.
Of course, all those talented guitarists need a stellar rhythm section to keep them in line. Chris Layton of Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble fame will be on drums, with bassist Kevin McCormick laying down the grooves.
“Kevin McCormick has served as a producer, co-writer and bass player for Melissa Etheridge as she emerged as a world class artist with her self-titled 1988 debut, along with such acclaimed albums as Brave and Crazy (1989), Never Enough (1992) and her massively successful Yes I Am (1993),” the tour’s website explains. “Kevin’s resume only grew from there as he started producing, writing and performing with an impressive list of artists such as Nils Lofgren, Jackson Browne, Robben Ford, John Mayall, Keb’ Mo, Crosby Stills & Nash, and The Rides, featuring Stephen Stills, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Barry Goldberg – to cite a very select few.”
The tour will begin March 11th in Cincinnati, Ohio, and focus on the Midwest and Eastern seaboard for a solid month. The final date is slated for Atlanta, Georgia, at the Fox Theatre.
