“Ultra-Quiet Power”: D’Addario’s XPND Kit Delivers 10+ Hours for Any Pedalboard
D’Addario has unveiled the XPND Pedal Power Battery Kit, which they call an “all-in-one power solution” for your pedalboard. The system features a 10,000mAH rechargeable Portable Power Cell with over 10 hours of power for an average-sized pedalboard. It also has a USB-C power supply for charging and extra flexibility.
“The Gateway hub, featuring patent-pending technology, combines USB Power Delivery protocol with advanced noise filtering to deliver ultra-quiet, consistent 9-volt power—perfect for keeping your signal chain clean,” the company states. “The kit also includes the innovative XPND Adjustable Daisy Chain for connecting your pedals to the battery. This breakthrough product allows players to customize plug spacing to fit their pedalboard setup. A hook-and-loop fastener is included for effortless mounting on D’Addario’s XPND Pedalboard or any other board.”
In addition to the full kit, D’Addario introduced the XPND Noise Isolator for killing hum and interference in your signal chain.
The XPND Pedal Power Battery Kit is available now for $169.99. It comes in U.S. or International versions. The XPND Noise Isolator goes for $35.99, while individual components of the full battery kit can be purchased separately.
