DigiTech & MonoNeon Drop Signature Whammy with Hypersonic Mode at NAMM 2025

MonoNeon has been one of the most creative users of the Whammy pedal, and now DigiTech has teamed up with the virtuoso to create a signature version. The DigiTech MonoNeon Signature Whammy is based on the Whammy V. It adds new features like an Octave Blend, a reimagined Detune, and “piece de resistance, the show-stopping Hypersonic Mode.”

“The all-new Hypersonic Mode will kick that pitch shift straight into the stratosphere with the ability to pitch shift 3 full octaves,” a press release explains. “The Detune effect allows for that perfect amount of Detune mixed with its dry signal. The Octaver is perfect for playing chords and adding octaves both above or below the original signal. The Harmony effect has six options to have its dry signal mixed with a pitch-shifted signal to create a chordal harmony that can be shifted and blended into a second chordal harmony.”

MonoNeon’s signature Whammy has also been re-voiced to have an extended range that works for both bass and guitar. Other features include full MIDI control, an included power supply, and a Neon Yellow and Neon Orange housing.

The DigiTech MonoNeon Signature Whammy is available for $349.99.
