Alex Webster and Cannibal Corpse Announce Fall Tour with Municipal Waste and Fulci

Cannibal Corpse have announced a new North American tour for the fall, and with Municipal Waste and Fulci as support, the tour will feature the monstrous bass work of Alex Webster, Philip “LandPhil” Hall, and Klem Diglio.
The tour kicks off September 15th in Nashville, Tennessee and will cover the Northeast before heading into the Midwest. Webster and the crew will eventually get through the South and West Coast before heading back East. Things wrap up on October 22nd at The Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Cannibal Corpse released Chaos Horrific in 2023, marking the iconic death metal band’s sixteenth album. Webster spoke to Metal Sucks about the band’s consistency over their 37 years.
“That’s really part of the reason we’re still around: we’ve tried to be consistent in every area that we could. We’re consistent artistically,” he said. “The style that we do now is really the style that we did in the beginning, it’s just evolved a bit. These songs on the new album and everything in between, all the way back to the first album, they sit together quite nicely in a live set. Nothing feels drastically out of place or anything like that. Our imagery, the type of lyrics we’ve had, that’s always been consistent.”
