Abasi Concepts Unveils 2025 Larada 5 Bass With New Finishes and Upgrades

Abasi Concepts Larada 5 2025 Lineup

Last year, Abasi Concepts launched their debut bass guitar, the Larada 5. Now, the company, led by Animals as Leaders guitarist Tosin Abasi, has announced the five-string model has been updated and expanded for 2025.

The lineup continues to feature a multi-scale, headless design with an ergonomic okoume body. This year’s model features five new colorways: Clarion Blue, Chartreuse, Sage, Mint, and Black. Abasi also reworked the bass for some larger updates.

“The 2025 Larada Bass Collection brings refined performance and new upgrades,” the company shared on Instagram. “Roasted maple necks for added stability and feel, obsidian maple and roasted maple fingerboards, [and] a revised control layout for improved ergonomics and playability. Built for the modern bassist, this collection combines striking aesthetics with uncompromising tone and comfort.”

Other features include Fishman Fluence multi-voice pickups, stainless steel frets, and individual string bridges. The Abasi Concepts 2025 Larada 5 is available now for $3,999.
