This is Jaco doing what only Jaco could do. Harmonics. Slides. Grooves that feel like they’re alive. He’s not just holding down the low end. He’s reshaping what the instrument can be. From the first notes, it’s clear this is something special.

The rest of the band is just as locked in. Joe Zawinul builds otherworldly textures on keys. Wayne Shorter’s sax work cuts straight through and Peter Erskine on drums keeping pace with Jaco’s fire.
