Sylvia Massy & ZVEX Unveil Limited Woolly Mammoth Pedal: Handcrafted Fuzz with Crushing Low End
ZVEX Effects has teamed up with audio wizard Syvia Massy to introduce a new, limited edition version of their Woolly Mammoth fuzz pedal. The Sylvia Massy Woolly Mammoth is described as a “monstrous fuzz pedal that delivers crushing low end for bassists while also blistering on guitar.”
Central to the pedal’s design is its use of hand-selected and tested new-old-stock 2N2222A transistors. Massy, who is acclaimed for producing artists from Tool to Prince, also created the artwork, which is UV-printed onto the chassis. Similar to the original Woolly Mammoth circuit, the Massy version has Output, EQ, Pinch, and Wool controls for dialing in your grit.
