Watch: Rob Trujillo and More Honor Ozzy Osbourne with Heavy-Hitting Rock Hall Tribute
The 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony delivered one of its most powerful moments with a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, who passed recently. The night was loud, raw, and heartfelt as a crew of rock heavyweights came together to celebrate the legacy of one of music’s true icons.
Hosted by Jack Black, who brought both reverence and wild energy to the stage, the tribute hit all the right notes. Rob Trujillo took up bass duties, bringing his unmistakable energy and a deep personal connection to Ozzy’s music. Chad Smith drove the groove from behind the kit. Billy Idol stepped up on vocals while Zakk Wylde handled guitar firepower and Adam Wakeman filled in the keys. Each player brought their own chapter of the Ozzy story to life.
The ceremony took place in Cleveland on October 19 and the performance served as a reminder of just how much Ozzy shaped rock and metal. From Black Sabbath to his solo career he left a massive footprint and inspired generations to follow the sound louder.
