“There’s Nothing Like the Sound We Make”: Lee Rocker and the Stray Cats Announce Fall 2025 Tour

The Stray Cats will be strutting around the U.S. again this fall on a newly announced tour. The 20-plus dates, which will run between October and November, mark the rockabilly trio’s first tour since summer 2024.
The band formed in 1979 and ushered in a rockabilly revival in the ’80s with hits like “Stray Cat Strut” and “Rock This Town.”
“What blows me away every time is how this music still connects — decades later, it’s just as raw, just as real,” singer and guitarist Brian Setzer said in a press release. “We see fans from every generation now.”
“There’s nothing like the sound we make when the three of us hit the stage — it’s high-octane rockabilly, loud and proud,” added bassist Lee Rocker. “We’re fired up to bring that to fans across the country again!”
The band will begin their tour in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and then head to the Midwest before moving on to the Northeast states. After a few connecting dates, they’ll hit the Southwest and eventually end up in California. The final performance is scheduled for November 23rd at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Wheatland, California.
The announcement is good news for fans, who have been concerned about Brian Setzer’s health since he revealed that an autoimmune disease had affected his playing. He said in February that he could not play guitar, but that he would “beat this, it will just take some time.”
