Affordable Retro: Gretsch Launches Electromatic CVT Bass Double-Cut in 32″ Scale

Gretsch Guitars has updated the CVT Collection with a new guitar model and a bass model called the Electromatic CVT Bass Double-Cut. Available in Vintage White or Bristol Fog finishes, the new four-stringers are a “retro-refined take on a classic Gretsch design,” the company says.
The design features a medium 32-inch scale length with a solid mahogany body and a bolt-on mahogany neck. Its laurel fingerboard holds 20 medium jumbo frets with pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays to mark the positions. Gretsch fits the bass with a pair of their Low Down Alnico Bass pickups with a single-coil at the bridge and a humbucker in the neck position. Each has an individual volume control with a Master Tone knob to control the overall output shaping.
The Gretsch Electromatic CVT Bass Double-Cut carries a street price of $399.

And yet ANOTHER article by a “bass” info outlet (lmao) that contains absolutely NOTHING that average Joe blow can get online. Maybe even LESS?
Can we please obtain information on the dexterity of these instruments ? I see more lefty players than ever before. Maybe because lefty instruments became more available at a normal price point. BUT please as a “bass specific” information outlet. Can we include if the pieces you promote are available in left-handed orientation?
Love it
How much?
