Newly Released: Billy Idol Teams with Steve Stevens and Tony Kanal for First-Ever Hoover Dam Concert Film

Billy Idol has released State Line Live at Hoover Dam, a concert film that captures his history-making performance at the iconic landmark in April 2023. The event marked the first concert ever staged at Hoover Dam and featured two sets, one full electric at sunset and one acoustic with Idol and guitarist Steve Stevens on the powerhouse roof.

No Doubt’s Tony Kanal was among the special guests. He joined Idol and Stevens on select songs, including a fiery take on Dancing With Myself with Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones. Kanal’s bass work adds weight and drive to the dramatic setting, grounding a setlist that stretches across Idol’s catalog from White Wedding and Rebel Yell to Eyes Without a Face.
