Bubba Bash 2026 to Honor Neil Peart with Star-Studded Tribute for Glioblastoma Research

Tim Starace Bubba Bash 2026

Rush fans take note: Bubba Bash is returning in 2026. The fourth annual charity concert will continue to celebrate the late Neil Peart by gathering musicians from around the world to perform Rush’s music. Set for January 10th at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania, the event raises funds for Cedars-Sinai glioblastoma research.

“After being diagnosed with glioblastoma, Neil was given mere months to live. With their exemplary expertise, care and support, Cedars-Sinai, Los Angeles, turned those months into years,” a press release explains. “On-going Bubba Bash efforts have resulted in raising close to $200,000 for Cedars-Sinai thus far. With everyone’s support, we can help Cedars-Sinai find a cure and eradicate this insidious disease.”

As always, Bubba Bash is hosted by YYNOT and the mighty bass tones of Tim Starace. This year’s event will see the return of guest artists Jonny Dinklage (Clockwork Angels string ensemble), Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall, Category 7), Ed Toth (The Doobie Brothers), Joe Bergamini (drum instructor, author), John Wesley (Vertical Horizon), Tyler Warren (Queen + Adam Lambert), kOko pOwell (The Edgar Winter Band), Alex Figueroa (Rush Monterrey Tribute, Mexico), and Rodney McG (founding member of Iron Christ). New guests for 2026 include Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob, Category 7), Fer Velasco (Rush Monterrey Tribute, Mexico), Greg Russell (Natural Science), Jack Gibson (Exodus, Category 7), and Tyme Rogers (Tech 21 NYC).

“Without any advance rehearsals, except for a quick day-of-show run-thru, this distinguished roster of pro players work tirelessly on their own to prepare for the Bubba Bash,” the organizers explain. “Their pure heartfelt dedication to honor Neil is quite remarkable to witness.”
