Michael Parks Jr. Anchors All Them Witches’ Massive Sound Live at AB

I just discovered All Them Witches and this was the first video I saw of them. Within a few minutes I was completely hooked. The vibe, the groove, the atmosphere, it all hit just right.

This live performance from AB captures everything I love about great bands. It is heavy without being overdone, dynamic without feeling forced, and full of those little musical moments that make you want to grab your bass and play along.

The band’s bass player, Michael Parks Jr., is also the lead singer, which is always cool to see. His voice sounds kind of like a relaxed mix of Josh Homme, Sturgill Simpson, & Gary Clark Jr. It is smooth, gritty, and soulful all at once, and it fits the band’s sound perfectly.

If you have not checked out All Them Witches yet, start with this one. You might end up down the same rabbit hole I did.
