G. Love & Special Sauce Plot Expansive 20th Anniversary Tour Featuring Jim “Jimi Jazz” Prescott
G. Love & Special Sauce are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark album, Lemonade, with an extensive tour. The band, anchored by double bassist Jim “Jimi Jazz” Prescott, will bring their unique blend of blues, hip-hop, and rock through the end of the year with dates reaching into October 2026.
The run begins on November 26th in New Hampshire before heading down New England to cut into the Midwest. They’ll double back into the Northeast in January and work their way down to Florida before jumping to the West Coast. The final dates on their 2026 itinerary include a leg with Jack Johnson that wraps up on October 4th in Santa Barbara, California.
“Two decades after Lemonade first landed, G. Love & Special Sauce are stepping into this anniversary not as a nostalgia act, but as artists still creating, still evolving, and still carrying the blues—old and new—into the next chapter,” a press release states. “This tour is a gathering of eras, a tribute to the people who shaped the music, and a reminder of the soulful ease that has always made G. Love & Special Sauce feel like blissfulness, connection, and community rolled into one.”
Special Sauce’s sound is defined in part by Prescott’s funky upright grooves. Case in point: check out “Rainbow” from Lemonade, featuring Jack Johnson.
