Eastwood Unveils the Rivolta Duocata Bass, a 30-Inch Semi-Hollow Limited to 12 Units

Eastwood Rivolta Duocata Bass

Eastwood Guitars has unveiled the Rivolta Duocata Bass, which puts designer Dennis Fano’s guitar design into a 30-inch-scale bass format. The classic thinline style instrument is limited to just 12 units.

“A bound f-hole gives the semi-hollow body classic character, and the checkerboard ivory binding injects a dash of retro attitude,” Eastwood writes. “With bold contours, sleek curves, and razor-sharp details, the Duocata Bass commands attention wherever it plays.”

The Rivolta Duocata Bass features a chambered ash body, a maple neck, and an Indian Rosewood fingerboard with 20 nickel jumbo frets. Central to the design is its custom single-coil pickup and a simple Volume/Tone control layout. The combination makes the bass “cut with power, sing with clarity, and respond instantly to your touch,” the company states.

Hear it in action in the hands of RJ Ronquillo:

The Eastwood Rivolta Duocata Bass comes in an Ambra Burst finish. It’s open to pre-order now for $1,099. Eastwood estimates they will be in stock this week.
