Laura Lee & Khruangbin Bring Their Deepest Grooves to KCRW Live From HQ

Khruangbin just put out a full live set filmed at KCRW HQ and it is a great reminder of how good this band is at laying down the best chill vibes.  If you are watching as a bass player your eyes probably go straight to Laura Lee. She is playing her recently released signature Fender Jazz Bass and it sounds exactly like you would hope. Fat. Clean. Deep in the pocket. It fits the band perfectly and feels like a natural extension of her tone.

Also worth mentioning Laura will be at the Bass Magazine Awards next week at NAMM. And yes there is already a rumor going around that Khruangbin might perform while they are there. Nothing confirmed but people are definitely talking.

Either way this KCRW set is an easy watch and an even easier listen. Throw it on. Let it ride.
