Mudvayne’s “Death Blooms” Gets an Explosive Bass Playthrough by Kade Turner

There are certain bass lines that still hit like a punch to the chest. Mudvayne’s “Death Blooms” is one of them. In his latest playthrough, Kade Turner dives headfirst into that chaos and comes out swinging.

Turner is playing a Warwick Thumb through a Gallien Krueger stack, and the combination absolutely snarls. The Warwick delivers that focused midrange grind while the Gallien Krueger Legacy head and rig keeps everything tight and aggressive. What makes this one especially fun is the energy. This is not a sit down and politely execute the notes kind of performance. Turner attacks the line with real conviction, locking into the groove and leaning into the physicality of the part.

He has released several playthroughs over the past week or so, and they have all been strong watches. The Instagram clips pulled from these performances have been doing especially well, and it is easy to see why. They are punchy, direct, and built for repeat views.

Ryan Martinie is by far one of the best Thumb players. Thanks Kade.
