After releasing their debut EP, Killswitch, last year, Billy Sheehan‘s new band The Fell is gearing up for their first tour. The run, which Sheehan called a warm-up to more dates to be announced, includes a week of concerts in the Northeast and Midwest.

Things kick off on March 22nd at Sharkey’s Event Center in Liverpool, New York. From there, they’ll hit venues in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Michigan. The final date is slated for March 29th in Harrison, Ohio.

Sheehan has had a storied career playing with Mr. Big, David Lee Roth, Talas, Steve Vai, and many more fellow rock icons. He has clearly been excited about the new project, and these concerts will be a special chance to see his bass wizardry up close and personal. He shared an inside look at his preparation for the tour on Facebook.

“Rehearsing the songs for the upcoming tour with my new band The Fell,” he wrote. “I usually go over every song a zillion times, that way I don’t have to ‘think’ about how it goes. And having a blast doing it!!! CAN’T WAIT TO PLAY THESE SONGS LIVE!!!!! We’ll do our very best for you!!!”

The Killswitch EP is streaming now on Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more. CD and LP versions are shipping now via the band’s webstore.
