Kinga Głyk Announces First-Ever U.S. Tour Dates

Polish bass virtuoso Kinga Głyk has been stunning the world with her playing for a decade. However, few U.S. fans have ever seen her perform live. After visiting the country for the first time during Michael League’s Blue Note residency earlier this year, she’s announced her first U.S. tour.
The outing will be a continuation of her “Chapters” tour, which she has taken across Europe this spring. Głyk will begin with two dates at Jazz Club Catalina in Los Angeles, California on June 12th and 13th. She’ll then cross the country in 9 days, hitting cities in Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, and Massachusetts. The U.S. leg wraps up on June 21st at The Iridium in New York City.
Głyk is highly gifted as a player, but she only uses her technique in musical ways. Check out this bass solo from “Who Cares” off of her latest album, Real Life.
And if you haven’t gotten hip to her yet, check out her full interview with Rick Beato.
