Ellen Alaverdyan Brings Melody, Groove, and Soloing to Jaminai’s New Release, “TAKE OFF”
Last week, we checked out Jaminai’s “13 Town.” Now the band is back with another track from their upcoming album, “Take Off“.
The title track puts Ellen Alaverdyan right in the middle of the action on her Mayones Comodous 4-string, laying down the groove while trading lines with the rest of the band. She also takes a solo midway through the tune, showing off the melodic approach and confidence that have made her one of the most exciting young bassists around.
If you enjoyed last week’s video, this follow-up is well worth a spin.
No Treble CEO Jody Miller is a Chicago-based bassist, guitarist, engineer, and producer best known for his bass gear demo videos and as the co-host of The Bass Nerds podcast.
How can you not love Ellen? She is such a joy to watch grow up in front of us and display her killer chops. She fits right in with the band around her. What a future she’s going to have, even though she’s kind of living it already.
