John Ferrara’s Mono Means One Announces “Creatures of Symmetry” Tour

Consider the Source bassist John Ferrara has announced a fall tour with his project Mono Means One, and they’ll have plenty of new music. The “Creatures of Symmetry” tour will feature the band playing their new album in its entirety.
“We are excited to announce that we will be hitting the east coast HARD this fall with some of our homiest of homies, Leon Trout, Muscle Tough, Felicity’s Hubris, Ian D’Arcangelo, and more to come!” the band wrote on Facebook. “We will even have Gabriel Marin Music and Jeff Mann Drums filling in for our Halloween show at Electric Haze w/ Leon Trout and our good buddy Silver String Slingers!”
Following a pair of late-summer appearances, the album tour will kick off on October 9th at The Parlour in Providence, Rhode Island, which will serve as the official release show. Things pick up again on Halloween in Worcester, Massachusetts, and will continue into November as they head as far south as Charlotte, North Carolina. They’ll wrap up with a date at Fuego in Dover, New Hampshire on November 21st.
Creatures of Symmetry will be released on October 2nd, marking the band’s second full-length album. The first single, “Monolith,” is an epic sonic adventure that is tied together by Ferrara’s monster bass playing.
“I am incredibly proud of this song. It is just shy of 10 minutes long, sounds absolutely huge and goes everywhere imaginable,” he shared. “Memorable melodies, super heavy syncopated riffs, an awesome synth solo, and some of the best drums I’ve heard Rob do. And incredibly proud of my bandmates, Rob and Isaac, for the amazing playing that they did on it. It’s a behemoth, so strap yourself in!”
Creatures of Symmetry is open to pre-order on Bandcamp. Listen to “Monolith” and see the band’s tour dates below.
