Zach Cooper and Coheed and Cambria Deliver an Epic Live Performance of “In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3”

Coheed and Cambria just released a new live video for “In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3,” filmed at Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall in Fort Worth, Texas.

The song clocks in at more than 10 minutes, which feels like a throwback in itself. When the original album arrived in 2003, songs of that length were not nearly as unusual as they might seem today, especially for a band willing to let a piece develop over time.

Zach Cooper holds down the low end on a Yamaha BB four string that has been stripped down to the essentials. His bass is wired with a single volume knob. That’s it. He is running it through an Aguilar rig for the performance.  You can check our Bass Breakdown with Zach from last year.
