The Offspring Crash a Street Performance of “The Kids Aren’t Alright” in Kraków

Fans outside TAURON Arena Kraków got an unexpected pre-show moment when members of The Offspring joined pianist Emilio Piano for a performance of “The Kids Aren’t Alright.”

Piano was already playing the song for the crowd outside the venue when members of the band appeared and jumped in, turning the street-side performance into an impromptu Offspring singalong.  Now the truth is more likely that this was a planned performance meant to feel spontaneous.  This piano player just happens to have a bunch of guitar amps, bass gear, and mics set up for himself? Regardless, the vibe is fun and its cool to see the band in a stripped down setting.

Bass fans will be watching Todd Morse with his Fender P bass and Ampeg rig. Morse has been The Offspring’s official bassist since 2019, after previously spending years with the group on rhythm guitar and backing vocals.  “The Kids Aren’t Alright” originally appeared on The Offspring’s massive 1998 album, Americana, and was released as a single the following year. Founding bassist Greg K played on the original studio recording.
