WATCH: MonoNeon Goes Off on a Fretless Bass Solo
Every bass player has three minutes for MonoNeon.
In this clip, he is alone with a fretless P Bass and thats is really all he needs.
MonoNeon calls it a “whateva the fyuck open bass solo,” and I would say its a fitting title. MonoNeon leans into the slides, pitch bends, and sounds between the notes, giving the whole performance some strange character that could only come from him.
Three minutes. Solo bass. MonoNeon.
