In this edition of No Treble’s Wonder Women series, we will examine the extraordinary musical path of bassist, vocalist, composer, and songwriter Esperanza Spalding.

Esperanza Spalding has announced a set of tour dates for July that will see her collaborating with choreographer, dancer, and director Antonio Brown. Spread across the U.S., the concerts will pull from the last few of her albums.

Esperanza Spalding has released her eighth album as a leader, entitled “Songwrights Apothecary Lab”. Building off of the three-song EP from April, the album contains twelve songs.
