Here’s a classic video from the early days of Youtube featuring monster bassists Marcus Miller and Tal Wilkenfeld. This one goes all the way back to NAMM 2007!

South African singer and guitarist Jonathan Butler has returned with his first studio album in eight years with “Ubuntu.” The album was recorded in 2019 with the legendary Marcus Miller.

Marcus Miller took the stage at Yoshi’s with drummer Billy Kilson. Playing the tune “Untamed,’ Marcus switches to fretless – then back to fretted – and gives us an incredibly dynamic performance.

Zycopolis TV shared this video this morning, and it is a great blast from the past. Filmed at Paradiso 2008, here’s the trio of Stanley Clark, Marcus Miller, and Victor Wooten (known as S.M.V.) performing “Thunder.”

Two decades after their last release, Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey have unleashed the third Bass Extremes album. “S’Low Down” features the virtuosos with drummer extraordinaire Gregg Bissonette and a huge supporting cast.

The amount of talent on a single stage in this video is mind-blowing. This clip comes from the 2014 Global Concert in Osaka, Japan, with Herbie Hancock backed by a supergroup (including Marcus Miller) on a performance of “Hang Up Your Hang Ups.”
