Solar Guitars has added a pair of new basses to its lineup with the AB1.4ROP and the AB1.5BOP. The new models are described as the top tier of the Type AB Bass range.

Solar Guitars has rolled out another signature instrument, this time for Jonas Björler of At The Gates and The Haunted. The AB1.4JB is described as excelling in heavy gain with a straightforward approach.

Solar Guitars has added to its artist line by announcing the Johan Niemann signature bass. The Evergrey bassist’s new axe is a take on their Type AB model and is called the AB1.4JN.

Solar Guitars has expanded its model lineup again, including the AB2.4CAR and AB2.5MBL basses. The basses are built around the company’s Type AB bass with a few specific features.

Ola Englund’s Solar Guitars has unveiled three new basses to their lineup for 2022 with the AB2.4ON, the AB2.4S, and the AB2.5GN. Each bass is part of the AB series and carries the same body shape, active Solar pickups, and 2-band preamp.

Solar Guitars has unveiled a new bass model called the AB2.4 Canibalismo. The four-string bass is built with a sungkai body in a distressed red “Canibalismo” finish with a matching headstock.

Solar Guitars has announced their first bass model with the Type AB2 Series. The line includes three variations, and Solar says the AB2 is designed “for the modern metal bass player with high-quality expectations at an affordable price.”
