FORQ: Into Bright

The Jaco Pastorius Archive shared another incredible recording yesterday. Joni Mitchell’s “Shadows and Light” tour stop at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles happened 45 years ago this month. This soundboard recording comes from the fourth of five concerts, and the second to last concert of the tour.
Jaco Pastorius Legacy 5tet: Continuum
Madrid-based musician Tomás Merlo has a band called the Jaco Pastorius Legacy 5tet, with which he pays tribute to the late bass master. Merlo and his group have released a few videos, including this new take on the masterpiece “Continuum.”
