The Playing for Change Band took the stage at the Byron Bay Bluesfest and performed a remarkable cover of “When the Levee Breaks.”

Saxophonist Randal Clark paid tribute to the great David Sanborn, who passed away on May 12th. Clark enlisted bassist Jimmy Haslip, keyboardist Scott Kinsey, and drummer Zach Danziger to perform “A Tear For Crystal,” written by Sanborn and Marcus Miller.

Tiny Desk Concert keeps upping their game. This episode features the great Meshell Ndegeocello and her band performing music from her upcoming album, “No More Water: The Gospel of James Baldwin,” and other songs from her catalog.

Bassist/vocalist Adi Oasis visited the KEXP studio and put on quite a performance. It was so good, I decided to share the entire session.
